Are you among the millions of people who feel the need to set a "New Year's Resolution?" If so, by all means, tell us about it here! I find it intriguing to see what kind of goals people set for themselves! How many of us determined (yet again!) to lose weight or get fit? Are there really any other New Year's Resolutions out there? Please, DO tell me it's so!

I haven't even started my Christmas shopping yet. How pathetic is that? Each and every year I determine to start my holiday shopping earlier. And it seems like most years December 1st rolls around and I still haven't purchased a single item! In fact, many, many years I am still shopping on Christmas Eve day! This is ridiculous! If you have figured out a way to implement a plan-of-action for finishing your holiday shopping BEFORE December 1st, I'd love to hear it!

Why do they call it Trick or Treat when no one EVER does a trick in order to get the treat?

I remember knocking on one door as a child and the guy answering threw us completely off guard! He actually required that we perform some kind of trick before we could get our treats! Did he not REALIZE that he was throwing a huge monkey wrench in our primary Halloween objective? Which was (OBVIOUSLY!) to acquire as much candy and chocolate in as little time as possible? Now, what would happen to that plan if everyone required the poor, greedy little wretches to perform some sort of trick to earn their treat? Why, they would only return home with a bowlful of candy instead of the pillowcase fulls we all know they are shooting for! Just let 'em get their year's supply all in one night and bring on the Ritalin! (kidding, of course!)
