Can I Add PayPal Buttons To My Website?

You can easily add PayPal Buy Now buttons to your website for offering online purchase ability to your customers or clients. Read all about it here!

Adding PayPal functionality to your website is a cinch! But before you can do it, of course, you need to register with PayPal to become an authorized merchant. Once you do that and get your bank account attached to your PayPal account, you can create as many Buy Now or Pay Now buttons as you like and place them on any page of your site! You can even add shopping cart capability to your site, if you choose to do so!

Simply login to your PayPal account and click on the tab titled Merchant Services. PayPal provides GREAT, detailed instructions, including a button for viewing an in-depth demo for each of their button options. Simply click on their Buy Now Button, Add To Cart Button, or any of the purchase options you are interested in and then we highly recommend you take a few minutes to go through their demo for each so that you become familiar with the process. When their demo instructs you to "go to your website and paste the code into your HTML code" all you need to do is make sure you are logged into the administrative view of your website and then navigate to the page where you want the button to appear. There you will click on the Edit Content link and scroll down to the Text Editor portion of the page. Click on the "Source" button located just below the "Upload Image" field and "Show Image On Page" check box. This will take you to the actual "code" version of the page you are creating. Now scroll down the code until it ends and then place your cursor in the empty space at the end and paste the code you copied from PayPal into this section. Click on the "Source" button again to return you to the graphical version of your page and you will be able to see the button you have just created.

You may add as many of these buttons as you like, and the price is already embedded in the button when you create it at PayPal. So all you have to do is paste them into any given page and you are all set to begin accepting payments online at your website!
